Juvenile delinquency and metabolic syndrome are increasing health and social problems in urban communities, particularly in densely populated areas around the Banjir Kanal Timur. Environmental conditions, lack of health education, and minimal social supervision are factors that contribute to the low quality of life in the community. This community service activity aimed to increase public knowledge and awareness regarding the dangers of juvenile delinquency and the importance of preventing metabolic syndrome through health education and fostering healthy lifestyles. The implementation method was carried out through counseling, interactive discussions, simple health checks, and distribution of educational media to adolescents and the local community. The results of the activity showed a 37.2% increase in participants' understanding of the negative impacts of juvenile delinquency, such as drug abuse, promiscuity, and violence, as well as increased public awareness of the risk factors for metabolic syndrome, including unhealthy eating patterns, lack of physical activity, obesity, hypertension, and diabetes mellitus. Thus, this community service activity is expected to be a preventive measure in improving the quality of life of the community through strengthening health education and social development in the area around the Banjir Kanal Timur.
